Inner Mongolia Meifang Coal-coking Co., Ltd

Source of Waste Gas:
The waste gas originates from the coking and chemical production units, as well as the salt extraction reactor and plant.
Waste Gas Components:
The primary constituents include benzene and its homologs, methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), along with minor amounts of tar and naphthalene.
Processing Air Volume:
The system handles a volumetric flow rate of 35,000 Nm³/h.
Process Configuration:
The treatment process consists of a pretreatment stage followed by a Rotary Valve Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO).
Process Challenges:
Key challenges involve efficient collection and pretreatment of the waste gas, preventing ammonium salt blockages in the Rotary Valve RTO, ensuring stable combustion of coke oven gas, avoiding the formation of secondary pollutants, and maintaining robust system safety controls.
Treatment Results:
The concentration of non-methane total hydrocarbons was reduced from an inlet level of 2771 mg/m³ to an outlet level of 30.6 mg/m³.
