Yurcent RTO system with National Projects Through Proven Capabilities

2025-08-07

  On July 27, 2025, the Vocs Treatment facility renovation project in the production plant area of Xinjiang Xinye Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. was officially handed over, five days ahead of schedule, after 140 days of construction. This project, constructed by Xinjiang Xinye Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., supervised by Henan Zhongda Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd., and jointly designed, procured, and built by Xi'an Yurcent Environmental Technology and other companies, has become China's first high-standard project to achieve VOCs emissions below 20mg/m³ from coal gasification low-temperature methanol wash purge gas. Its treatment technology leads the nation, marking a breakthrough innovation! Henceforth, the company can independently implement emission reduction measures during periods of heavy pollution.

This project includes the construction of:

  • A new 5,000m³ wet gas holder to collect low-pressure flare gas;
  • A new direct-fired Thermal Oxidizer (TO) with a flare gas treatment capacity of 2,000Nm³/h, coupled with a waste heat boiler producing 15t/h of 2.5MPa(g) saturated steam;
  • Auxiliary systems such as a tail gas desulfurization tower and chimney.

The facility operates at 30%-120% load with an annual operation time of 8,000 hours, ensuring stable compliance with emission standards for non-methane total hydrocarbons (NMHC), particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, and sulfides.

By recovering and treating flare gas emissions, the project maintains NMHC concentrations stably below 20mg/Nm³, meeting Grade A enterprise standards. This not only creates conditions for autonomous emission reduction but also solidifies Xinye Energy Chemical's commitment to the development philosophy of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and "environmental protection first, ecological enterprise building." It lays a robust foundation for fulfilling the environmental responsibilities of state-owned enterprises and promoting sustainable development.

Upon commissioning, the project will effectively reduce VOC emissions while co-generating steam, strengthening both safety, environmental protection, and production stability. It will also contribute to regional air quality improvement, achieving a win-win scenario that benefits the environment, economy, and society.
