YURCENT's Large-Scale Waste Gas Treatment (RTO) Project Successfully Completed in South African Fisheries Industry!
Project Background
Afrofishing, located along the coast of Cape Town, is the only canned fish producer in southeastern South Africa and one of YURCENT's key overseas industrial waste gas treatment projects. After three months of intensive work—from RTO machine delivery and personnel dispatch to on-site installation and commissioning—we successfully handed over. We approved a 30,000 m³/h square rotary RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer), helping the client achieve efficient and eco-friendly waste gas treatment.

📊 Technical Highlights
✅ Airflow Capacity: 30,000 m³/h
✅ Target Pollutants:
- Trimethylamine (TMA)
- Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S)
- Odorous Volatile Compounds from fishmeal production
✅ Emission Sources:
- Process air captured with point suction
- Dryer uncondensable gases
- Meal cooler air
- Fish storage area room change
- Production hall area room change

🌟 Treatment Performance
Rigorous testing confirmed that emission levels far exceed international standards:
🔹 TMA concentration <1 mg/m³
🔹 H₂S concentration <1 mg/m³
🔹 Remarkable deodorization effect, significantly improving factory and surrounding air quality
