Rotary Concentrator

Contact us

The Rotary Concentrator system is ingeniously divided into three distinct sections: the adsorption zone, desorption zone, and cooling zone. This design allows for an efficient and continuous purification process of low-concentration waste gases. As contaminated air passes through the adsorption zone, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are effectively captured by the Rotary Concentrator material. The purified air is then released into the environment. Once the Rotary Concentrator reaches its saturation point, it transitions to the desorption zone. Here, a small volume of high-temperature hot air, typically ranging from 180 to 220 degrees Celsius, is introduced to release the trapped VOCs and regenerate the rotor's adsorption capacity. Following this, the rotor moves into the cooling zone, where it cools down before re-entering the adsorption zone to continue capturing VOCs. This cyclical process ensures uninterrupted purification of waste gases.

The concentration ratio of the waste gas can be significantly increased, typically between 5 to 30 times, leading to a remarkable purification efficiency of 95% to 98%. This enhanced concentration makes it possible to direct the now high-concentration exhaust gases to a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) for further treatment, ensuring thorough removal of pollutants.

The working principle of the Rotary Concentrator is visually demonstrated in the accompanying diagram. It is primarily employed for the adsorption and concentration of low-concentration exhaust gases. Industries such as coating and printing, which often deal with large volumes of low-concentration waste gases, benefit greatly from this technology.

Yurcent, a leading provider of Rotary Concentrator solutions, tailors the selection of Rotary Concentrator materials and customizes concentration ratios and other parameters based on specific industry requirements and exhaust gas conditions. This customization ensures optimal performance and compliance with emission standards. Numerous application cases across various industries have shown that Yurcent's Rotary Concentrators consistently meet stringent emission standards and have received widespread praise from customers.

The processing capacity of a single Rotary Concentrator unit can range from 1,000 cubic meters per hour to 200,000 cubic meters per hour, making it suitable for both small-scale and large-scale industrial applications.

      High Adsorption Capacity

This advanced system boasts an exceptional adsorption capacity along with superior purification efficiency. It is specifically designed to handle large volumes of low-concentration waste gases, ensuring effective treatment and environmental compliance. For instance, industries that produce significant amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can benefit greatly from this technology. The system's ability to manage high-volume emissions makes it a reliable choice for facilities looking to maintain air quality standards.

      Excellent Hydrophobicity

By incorporating a hydrophobic molecular sieve with a high silicon-aluminum ratio, the system achieves selective adsorption of VOCs. This feature ensures that only targeted pollutants are captured, while water vapor and other non-target substances pass through unaffected. This selective process enhances the overall efficiency of pollutant removal, making it particularly suitable for environments with high humidity levels. For example, in chemical processing plants or pharmaceutical manufacturing, where moisture control is crucial, this system provides a robust solution.

      Thermal Stability

The design of the system includes materials and components that exhibit excellent thermal stability. This characteristic not only prevents smoldering but also ensures long-term operational safety. In industrial settings where temperature fluctuations are common, such as in petrochemical refineries or power plants, the system's thermal resilience is a critical advantage. It minimizes the risk of heat-related failures and maintains consistent performance over time.

      Selective Adsorption

The molecular sieve used in this system has a precisely controlled pore size, which allows for tailored adsorption based on the specific types of VOCs present. Different formulations of the sieve can be selected to match the unique characteristics of various pollutants, ensuring optimal performance. For example, in industries like automotive painting or printing, where different solvents are used, the system can be customized to target the most prevalent VOCs, thereby maximizing its effectiveness.

Compact Design and Low Energy Consumption

The system is engineered to be both energy-efficient and space-saving. Its compact footprint reduces the amount of floor space required, making it ideal for facilities with limited available area. Additionally, the system's low energy consumption translates into cost savings for the operator. For instance, in smaller manufacturing plants or urban industrial zones, where space and energy costs are at a premium, this design offers a practical and economical solution.
